Benjamin Sharpe has joined the law firm of Daniel, Medley & Kirby, P.C. in an associate attorney position.  Mr. Sharpe is originally from the Martinsville area.  

Mr. Sharpe graduated from Virginia Tech in 2011, and he received his law degree in 2014 from Elon University School of Law.  After law school, Ben completed a Judicial Clerkship with the Circuit Court for the City of Danville.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sharpe worked as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney for the City of Danville Commonwealth Attorney's Office prosecuting misdemeanor and felony caes.  

As a member of the firm, Mr. Sharpe will be general civil litigation, estate planning, criminal and traffic cases, domestic matters, and criminal and civil appeals.  Daniel, Medley & Kirby, P.C. is a full service law firm with offices in both Danville and Martinsville; the other members of the firm are:  James A. July 2017.  Daniel, Medley & Kirby, P.C. attorney T. Brent Gammon has been named President of the Danville After-Hours Rotary Club for 2017-2018.  The After-Hours club is one of 4 local Rotary clubs within the Danville and Pittsylvania County area.  Rotary is an international organization with the motto of "Service above self", and the After-Hours club makes service projects that give back to the Danville community a primary focus.

Mr. Gammon, who is a shareholder with the firm, focuses primarily on civil litigation, workers' compensation, business law, and domestic relations.
